Physically and Mentally Done
Sometimes I get really sad because I feel like no one listens to me. It's really hard to be so passionate about things but for no one to listen to what you want to say. The three previous posts I made are three things I really think are genuine problems in society, but it's almost like no one will ever know that. It's not like I can go up to the president and say, "Hey Mr. President. Can you give every woman a personal body guard so she won't get raped? Can you sign the country up for LGBT acceptance class? Can you make teenage girls stop hating themselves?"

Rape and Power
Okay hear me out. This connection is going to be kind of long and confusing. Let's start with rape and safety of women. Women are constantly in danger because of things they do or don't wear, or just in general because they are seen as weak. Why is that? It's because people gain control over a woman. It's also come to the point where rape is so common that it doesn't even shock anyone anymore when someone they know is raped. Why doesn't this surprise anyone? It's honestly so twisted. People take advantage of women because they are seen as weak. These people also like to have power, not over themselves, but over others. Minnesota State University proves that idea. According to their website, rape is solely about power, not sex. As a female, it's hard for me to believe that women are so demeaned, but it's not hard for me to see why women are demeaned. It's because people like to have power, and there is no one who stops these power-hungry people.
LGBT Rights and Control
In America, everyone knows about the people who strongly oppose gay marriage. There have been countless protests for ages, and America used to never even talk about same-sex marriage. Heck, gay marriage still isn't allowed in some American states. Everyone knows that LGBT people are people too, so what's the point in trying to stop them from being married? It will change nothing. For example, Westboro Baptist Church is a family who is notorious for openly protesting against gay people. I honestly never understood why they would do that, but it finally hit me. One reason they do it is for attention. By taking something so controversial, and having a widely disliked stand on it, they will gain some followers, and they will gain some opponents. Ultimately, this gives them more influence. It also gives them more control. These people so blatantly hate gays, and they do this for power, power over the LGBT community.

Teenage Girls and Worth

It's mainly up to two "people" to determine the self-worth of a person. They are both that person and society. A person decides their self worth, but it's society who dictates how that person should look and act. Society controls the attitudes of our children because of its influence on everyone. Why are we giving society that power over us? As humans, we have conscious minds, and it is up to us to ignore standards set by everyone else. It's our goal to be happy. I think that's what everyone wants in life. If we are constantly letting people have control over us, or if we don't have control over ourselves. We can't let other people pressure us into hating ourselves if we want to be happy Find good times and good people who make you feel good about yourself. That is my advice to every teenager, woman, and man who hates their life. Taking negativity out of our lives will make us feel better about ourselves, but it is up to us to take charge over out lives.

It All Finally Connects!
I hope it all connects in your brain. If not, let me explain because I think now, everyone can see why I'm done with the world. Everyone is so eager for power and control, over themselves and others, and it's the cause of all of these problems. People need to be more open-minded, and they need
